We take you from your hotel or a meeting point as agreed to the lush green slopes of Materuni Village. The walk to the waterfall weaves through lush rainforest, coffee and banana farms, and village life. When you reach the waterfall, you’ll see its towering drop into a natural pool where you can cool off. After enjoying the waterfall, you explore a Chagga coffee farm where you help roast and brew coffee the local way, and taste fresh food made by villagers. Finally, we bring you back to your hotel or agreed drop‑off place, full of memories of nature, culture, and adventure.

Arrival at Materuni Waterfall and then Return.
This refreshing day trip begins with a scenic drive from Moshi or Arusha to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll hike through tropical forests, passing banana and coffee farms, while learning about the Chagga culture. After about a 45-minute walk, you’ll arrive at the stunning Materuni Waterfall, which plunges nearly 80 meters into a natural pool — perfect for a cold swim if you’re feeling adventurous. The tour also includes a traditional coffee-making experience, where you’ll roast, grind, and taste fresh Chagga coffee. After a local lunch and relaxation in the village, you’ll head back in the afternoon, filled with nature, culture, and great views.
