Arusha to Tarangire National Park
The safari begins with an early morning pickup from Arusha, followed by a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive across the park’s varied landscapes, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and more. After a full day of wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch inside the park, the day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at a nearby lodge or campsite.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a dense population of animals, including the Big Five, with a good chance of spotting endangered black rhinos. You’ll explore the diverse habitats around the crater floor and enjoy a picnic lunch by a scenic hippo pool. In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening.
