Early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your safari guide will meet you and drive you to Tarangire National Park—famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. Spend the day on game drives spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your wildlife adventure until late afternoon. After the game drive, transfer to your lodge or tented camp near Karatu, where you’ll relax with dinner and an overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater then Fly back to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to lions, rhinos, elephants, hyenas, hippos, and thousands of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a full morning of game viewing followed by a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for your return flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening.
