Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)
The trail leaves the forest and enters the moorland zone with stunning views across the Shira Plateau. You’ll trek steadily uphill, passing unique vegetation like giant lobelias and groundsels, and camp at Shira 1, enjoying panoramic mountain scenery.

The day begins with a challenging climb up the Barranco Wall—a thrilling scramble that rewards you with breathtaking views. After cresting the wall, you descend into Karanga Valley to camp and prepare for the final summit push.
